Gathering information about various medical cannabis industry businesses in order to strengthen the health of the cannabis industry in MS.
Communicate with elected officials and other policy makers about the benefits of medical cannabis.
The following health care professionals can recommend to the MS Department of Health that a patient receive a Medical Marijuana card:
Contact a participating practitioner licensed to recommend qualifying patients to participate in the Medical Cannabis Program.
Ask the practitioner if medical marijuana is right for you and discuss your condition.
If they agree that medical marijuana would be beneficial for you, they will recommend your participation in the program.
Register as a patient with the Mississippi Department of Health and fill out the patient card application.
